The Nevada Legislature passed AB116 into law which changes the way citations are issued and handled in the state of Nevada. Many violations that were previously classified as misdemeanors are now Civil Infractions. When you receive a citation it will be labeled either CIVIL or CRIMINAL at the top. To pay a Civil Infraction Citation or a Criminal violation please go to nvcourts.gov. A Notary Public is available on some days. Please call to inquire as to the schedule.
